While Desmond's 2022 album Shadowdancer was recorded in Paris, the tracks on this release were created between Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, working with a fresh team of collaborators including Jake Dane, Cole McSween, Rhett Huffman, Justin Cho, Todd Lyons, producers Reed Berin and Louis Johnson, Charlie Chastain, and more. Each song began as a home-studio demo before evolving with the help of collaborators to bring the best possible version to life.
